ELITE BASEBALL OPPORTUNITIES FOR INNER-CITY YOUTH!
GRIT Baseball is a nationally recognized program with a philosophy to build strong, resilient athletes through disciplined training, mental toughness, character development, and a culture of sustained hard work—believing that GRIT, not talent alone, is what creates success.

MISSION STATEMENT:
GRIT Baseball/Mount Vernon RUSH’s mission is to empower young athletes from inner-city communities by providing equitable access to elite baseball training, academic support, and mentorship. We strive to cultivate perseverance, character, and lifelong opportunity through a program built on discipline, community investment, and the belief that every child deserves a pathway to success—on the field and beyond.​
Starting in 2026 - GRIT/Mount Vernon Rush in partnership will provide the following to all participants:

Winter Workouts starting in January. These workouts will take place in the Mount Vernon High School turf area.

Spring Little League (10-12 Games)

Tri-Metro Summer League (10-12 Games)

One stay-away tournament!

Weekly organizational practices throughout all seasons.

Coaching by current/former college/professional baseball players, & current/former coaches.

Top level custom uniform package includes 2 full spring/summer uniforms:
fully sublimated jerseys, pants, fitted hats, socks and belt

Winter gear package includes a hoodie, practice shirt, shorts, sling bag, & car decal.

TOTAL COST
The cost of the full year is $395 spread over a 4 month period (Dec - April). Your NON-REFUNDABLE DECEMBER PAYMENT of $50 will be required to hold your spot. Then, you will automatically be charged $115 each month, for 3 months, starting February 1st.
